Employment / Admissions Counselor - Georgia
SUMMARY
The Admission Counselor-SCPE-GA will be responsible for executing strategies designed to meet the registration goals of SCPE–GA and the broader enrollment objectives of Shepherds College (WI). This is accomplished through targeted relationship development, representation at recruiting events/conferences, digital strategies, on/off campus high school visits, developing a network of contacts and partnerships, support day to day logistics in relationship to West Ridge Church in Dallas, GA, coordinating on-campus visits to the WI campus for leads, and guiding students through the SCPE application process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Shepherds College Preview Experience (SCPE) Rep:
- Recruit and register forty students for SCPE-GA by June 1, 2023
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all aspects of Shepherds College (SC) and SCPE programming and the admissions process
- Initiate communication and develop relationships with professionals, parents, and prospective students
- Represent and share at selected schools, disability ministries, parent networks, conferences, transition fairs, and other special events
- Promote all on-campus prospective student exploration opportunities, including ESCV, Preview Days, College for a Week, and individual and group tours
- Communicate proactively and responsively with prospective students and their parents
- Respond promptly to new inquiries and follow up with promotional material in a timely manner
- Collect, organize, and submit weekly key performance indicators to measure progress toward established enrollment goals
- Meet regularly with the VP of Expansion and/or other SC leadership (as organized by the supervisor) to review, measure and advance SCPE objectives
- Promote and generate leads for SC online
- Collect feedback from stakeholders to inform the ongoing improvement of SC admissions operations
- Develop strategies and initiatives to increase engagement among faculty, staff, and students relative to the prospective student experience, enrollment, and retention

Skills / Qualifications
- Work-related experience; preference is given to candidates who have worked in student recruitment and/or admissions
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a plus.
