Contact Us / Visit Campus

Shepherds College is located on the beautiful campus of Shepherds Ministries in Union Grove, WI. A campus visit is a great way to see and experience first-hand what Shepherds is all about. We are confident you will be impressed by our comfortable surroundings and more important, by the spirit of respect and care that permeates our campus.

Preview Days

An on-site Preview Day is the best way for prospective students, parents and professionals to further explore Shepherds College. Staff and students set aside time throughout the day to interact with guests and answer questions covering all aspects of the Shepherds College program. To top it off, the second and third year Culinary Arts students prepare and serve a delicious meal for lunch. In the afternoon, students have a chance to meet current Shepherds College students and are invited to participate in fun team-building activities.

During social distancing, the next best thing is a Virtual Preview Day event held on Zoom! Register for one below.

Virtual Preview Days are:

June 11, 2020

June 18, 2020

“We came home after the Preview Day and my son immediately got on the phone to call his siblings to tell them, ‘I’m going to Shepherds! I LOVE it there.”—Nancy

"Our family was very impressed with the college buildings and programs, but what left the most lasting impression was the vision, dedication, kindness and friendliness of everyone we met. It was an inspiring day!”—Jeanine, Special Education Teacher

Open Houses

Open House is a great opportunity to meet the students, talk with staff, learn about our groundbreaking program for students with intellectual disabilities, and shop in our campus store.

Tours leave at 9:30am, 10:00am, and 10:30am.

All visitors will receive a coupon for a free 12oz drip coffee at Shepherds Community Cafe.

Dates for upcoming Open Houses:

  • September 2020 TBD

High School Groups

High school groups are encouraged to schedule an independent field trip to campus, as spots for Preview Days are limited. Each student and staff member will receive a complimentary lunch, meet and interact with current students, and receive a free t-shirt upon departure.

While Covid-19 social distancing guidelines are in place, we encourage you to reach out to the Admissions department for more information on how to get connected virtually.

“Touring Shepherds College was an invaluable experience for our teachers, parents and students. It was obvious that the SC staff are committed to create a meaningful college experience for each student, and are dedicated to successful outcomes for students upon graduation. Our students left the tour excited about the possibility of attending Shepherds College.”

Individual Visits

Individual visits are scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM and generally last about an hour. Visits include a tour of the campus and an opportunity to meet with admissions and financial staff.

While Covid-19 social distancing guidelines are in place, we will not be scheduling on-campus visits. Please consider a Virtual Preview Day until further notice.

"Thank you for taking the time to show us around the college and give us an overview. It is truly inspirational to see what God is doing there. We were impressed by all of the attention to the details of building these lives, with the beautiful well-maintained facilities, careful scheduling, committed staff and willingness to move forward in program and facility development." ~ Rollie & Sandi

ESCV (Experience Shepherds College Visit)

Another option is for prospective students to come for an overnight stay and get a taste of the Shepherds College experience firsthand. As a prospective student, you will stay with a current student and attend classes during your visit.

While Covid-19 social distancing guidelines are in place, on-campus ESCVs will not be scheduled. Please contact Eric Lindsay to discuss other options.
